I figured it might be a good idea to have a megathread where everyone can voice their suggestions without the problem of it becoming invisible once several new suggestions are mentioned. We thank everyone for the endless support Wizard of Legend has received over the years and we hope that we can bring the same kind of excitement with our next title! We are exploring a variety of ideas for our next title, but don’t have anything to show off just yet. However, we encourage everyone to stay tuned for announcements by wishlisting on Steam or by following Dead Mage and Humble Games Unfortunately, we’re not involved in the day to day development of the game and can’t really provide much insight other than that it’s still very much in the development process. Why is Dead Mage developing Wizard of Legend 2?Īfter over 7 years of working on the original game, we’ve made the decision to move forward on a brand new project and hand off the reins for Wizard of Legend to Humble Games and Dead Mage, a studio with quite a bit of experience in developing rogue-like games! This allowed for the scope of WoL2 to be expanded beyond something we could have developed with our small team, with features such as online multiplayer, 3D environments, and more complex narratives.
